Mafia II is a 2010 activity experience game created by 2K Czech and distributed by 2K Games. It was delivered in August for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The game is an independent continuation of 2002's Mafia, and the second portion in the Mafia series. Set inside the imaginary city of Empire Bay from 1943 to 1951, the story follows Vito Scaletta, a youthful Sicillian-American mobster and war veteran, who becomes trapped in a battle for control among the city's Mafia wrongdoing families while endeavoring to take care of his dad's obligations and secure a superior way of life close by his dearest companion.
